The one patch's log message describes its purpose.

The patch provides a correction to an IO operation in the `main` of
`MFTINDX.py`. Two comparisons of a `bytes` slice are compared to
strings which will always return false. The correction reduces
`mypy --strict` type review errors.

The patch restores the functionality of the `if` branch.

The patch is written to pass mypy static type review when tested with
the following:
```bash
mypy list_mft.py MFTINDX.py
```
